John, Stu, Guy and Matt invite fellow Slaughtermen to 'Feed their ears and bellies and get it together in the country'...
Something a little different, AA's SW chapter have discovered this place:
The setting is quite spectacular:
The idea is for SW Butchers to put a system together and welcome 'Meatmen' brethren to come and bask in our reasonable company. (From Friday lunch time to Sunday lunchtime)
Lopwell barn can sleep between 12-16 people.
Accommodation is basic but adequate (You will need to bring a sleeping bag + pillow)
(Ear plugs and gas masks optional.)
The ground floor of the Barn has an open plan layout from lounge to kitchen.
Outside there is an area to sit and set things on fire (Looks much nicer and has a wood burning cob oven)
The cost for the weekend is £26 per person for x2 nights based on 12 people attending
*** £21 each if the full quota of 16 is achieved**
Want to eat and drink? You'll need to bring supplies. (There is a very nice cafe opposite the barn however which is good for breakfasts) - Organizing who's bringing what can be done down thread...
The Barn is located 20-25 mins from Plymouth and 15-20 from Tavistock
