The sou’wester or the metal shears?

It’s a aircraft direction finder, pre RDF

The second one of these

It was fucking epic :+1:

It was an epic get together in the wilds of Devon with some music and breathtaking quantities of food and drink. And fire. And rain. Gory details (some very gory indeed) here 1st SOUTH WEST Weekender.

Maybe, just maybe I will bring the large search lights I have in the garage so we can illuminate your car like daylight over night

I shouldn’t bother. I’ve heard that Graeme is a crack shot with a catapult

Oh I’ve got a cape.
It smells odd.

No further detail is necessary, thank you

Oh :frowning:

Given the Knob Creek then that fruit/vodka (?) that John brought I think that arming anyone would be a bad idea. It wouldn’t be necessary though. I’ve slept in economy class on Delta transatlantic flights. Just as long as there isn’t someone defrosting his car at 6am on the Sunday. BobC.

Axes, there were axes too

Indeed, the axes were not adequate though. Very poor.

I have a much betterer one to bring this time, tres sharp, it will take fingers if you look at it wrong.

Very good. I like sharp axes.

I have a couple of these

Great for chopping sticks for the fire. You can get them really sharp :grimacing:

What could possibly go wrong :grinning:
