As for the music, it is OK I suppose. Didn’t strike me as anything path breaking. It is what you would expect, krautrock beat, spacerock guitars, and vocals so low in the mix as to be almost inaudbile. No screaming wah-wah solos from J. Spaceman either.
Well it’s different. I’ve not heard 60s organ sounds mixed with modern high-gain guitars before. The Crazy World of Arthur Brown meets Mastodon?
I’ve not had much time to listen recently but I am still working my way through the Wo Fat back catalogue, and I’ve not heard anything I haven’t liked yet. Crushin’ slabs o’ fuzz!
Another vinyl reissue for RSD. The version of ‘Straight to your heart’ on this LP is one of my favourite tracks of all time and was something I played regularly when I DJ’ed at University. My original copy is knackered as a result.
This is a good example of how to do a reissue. Great pressing and nicely reworked packaging.
