Armchair politics

Please, please, please let Jacob Rees-Mogg have tried a little bit too hard to get into some interns pants…

Meanwhile other resignations go un-tendered.

I’m conflicted about her. She’s utterly venal, self serving, ruthless and possibly a bit thick (balanced by being extremely cunning), but she’s really, really fit…

Damian Green says computer porn allegations are ‘political smears’

As opposed to the smears he left on the computer screen

Multiple articles on The Guardian page about tax evasion, oligarchs, the Queen, Trump/Russia and even Everton and Arsenal. Be interesting where this goes…

This is a huge leak… Bigger than the Panama Papers.

So far most of it appears to be about rich people offshoring money, nowt illegal. The non-dom status of Ashcroft might be amusing but way past it’s sell by date.

On the British side. Looks to be some interesting bits on US / Russia interactions.

Legality as an aside, the leaked papers highlight a significant difference between us / them and fairness. Perhaps for the Queens crimbo speech she might suggest we eat cake?

Looks like Boris has actually managed to put a British national’s life directly at risk abroad. Well played, dickhead.

Hopefully this means he’ll finally get fired and never come back in any capacity whatsoever (wishful thinking again).

LOL at the thought that the Queen has the faintest idea what’s in her investments.

Ignorance is no excuse

Where did I say it was? But the thought that the Queen directed anyone to do this is nonsense.

Priti Patel left looking pretty stupid. Owns up to meeting the Israeli PM and two ministers while on holiday. Also owns up to not telling the FCO. Amazingly not sacked (yet).

Is there some sort of game of Brexiteer sacking chicken going on? Next up, David Davis to pull a moonie at Ruth Davison.

We were told, ‘We’re all in this together,’ quelle surprise, evidently we’re not. I doubt the queen has ever taken much of an interest in her returns or investments …This is the task her ‘employees’ (I would imagine they have job roles?) Ultimately she is as accountable for her responsibilities and employees as much as her good works, successes and profits .

As my Nan would say “I don’t give a cats cunt how much parsley you put on it, a plate of shit is a plate of shit.”

I appreciate this is not real world talk but rather the mutterings from the mind garden… from this naive perspective I’ve been post nap pondering: “Where does fairness end?” Sadly (rather like truth) it tends to cease with rationalizations and justifications. (Fine tools if you have the wherewithal) Whenever I’m arrested for public indecency I rarely get off using the above tactics - liberty, equality and justice seemingly are available if you have enough clout. I simply wish the desk Sargent of Devon and Cornwall constabulary was into vintage HiFi, I would gladly bung him a few mangled SME 3009 improved arms if he would only see fit to cease and desist from detaining me (It’s no fun being in a cell with Stronzetto when they confiscate his glue bag I can tell you).

So the Queen is ultimately responsible for her entirely legal tax avoidance (that we all do, but some people do on a bigger scale because they have the wherewithall).

I’m really struggling to get to any state of arousal about this, even with the inclusion of George Osborne’s amusing soundbite.

The Queen takes a very keen interest in her financial affairs, and apparently likes to have full knowledge of what her money is invested in. It is very much us and them.

Whatever keeps your hatebladder functional, brother.
