Armchair politics

So who’s won the most dishonest propaganda/misinformation/assassination/military action competition??

The east or west?

It’s a draw

It’s a fourteen-all score draw.

“Hey guys it’s called defence - you know, stopping others. It’s not all about offence…”

A nice piece of spin this morning by the UK’s delegate to the OPCW in putting about the idea that Russia was wilfully obstructing the investigation in Douma. However, the statement of the OPCW’s DG tells a slightly different story.

Won’t the OPCW updates will be non inflammatory and would omit anything that might cause a shit storm, even if they did have facts to hand?
To collect dialogue from all sides even handed reports are needed - Leastways until all the data is collected and the facts are gathered.

It would need a large paradigm shift from me to think that UK/Europe leadership are actually as crooked as Russia appear to be. The spin might be acually based on other information the reporter has.

May, with help from some lovely loaded questions, is destroying the anti military action people who insist she gets Pariamentary approval in future in the Commons debate.
Even Labour MP’s are doing their best to make her look ‘strong and stable’.

Her approval rating is going to go through the roof - Corbyn is toast.

Of course no mention at all of gas pipelines.

Green Party leader has got her rattled.:+1:

She had to lie in that response. The OPCW had inspected those two facilities and reported just last month that they were complying with their obligations.

Yep plenty of stuttering and then quickly changed direction.

The sycophancy of some of these MP’s is really quite nauseating.

Yeah, Russia is way more crooked, but also appears quite competent. Mostly appears to be a choice between the two nowadays.

Where is the hero benign dictator we need?

Really ? Going on current form, it really isn’t much of a shift. Pretty much just a different language imo.

Given this new found concern for the plight of beleaguered people, is there a reason why we haven’t yet launched airstrikes against Myanmar?

All the govts maps are still coloured pink and unfortunately they can’t find Myanmar anywhere on them.

There is a little place called Burma but the military leaders there are very nice people and a great ally of the UK so it couldn’t possibly be near there.
