Well the rear end looks a lot like a sparrow. But whose head it’s wearing I’ve no idea.

Difficult to say, but the head might be from a young Palm Cockatoo. Not sure though.
Actually, scratch that. I don’t even think the head is real. The bill looks like a young Vulturine Parrot, but the rest of the head doesn’t fit.
Whoever made that did a bloody good job!
I know o about birds but I did wonder if it could be some sort of vulture. Where’s the man Pully when we need him ?
VB
It isn’t real Graeme.
It isn’t ‘the man Pully’ we need, it’s David Nixon. I suggest we invest in a shovel and dig him up!
Most Mums do an amazing job, else we wouldn’t be here.
Even drops by for refuelling during first flight!

Chorus chirps from about 2 minutes.
No, I know. I just wondered if Andy might recognise where the head came from (very possibly multiple places !). I found it by Googling for images of ‘ugly bird’. Careful if you do that incidentally - there are not just avians there …
VB
I google ‘ugly bird’ from time to time, but that’s another story
I think the head is a composite of several things and I don’t have a clue what the body is
All the little browny-grey jobbies look like sparrows to me
