Problems around this made sitting increasingly not possible.
So always a choice of on the feet jobs - archaeology, horticulture, road labourer, grave digger etc. Then physiotherapy, from some dim inclination. Might be a careful use of on-the-feet time, requiring
some brain?
Degrees in literature/philosophy, health science, research in bioengineering.
Several delightful girlfriends.
One wife, who stepped aside as I became increasingly unwell. No blame.
The best thing I can say about my instincts is that she’s still a half-sister/family friend twenty years later.
Went off my feet early in the century from progressive fibrosis
