Not really into the divers watch thing, gone off watches with numbers around the bezel. Prefer a thin bezel so the face goes nearly to the edge…

I know Andy
Nomos are worth looking at Jim.
What about a Junghans Max Bill, not sure how well it would work as an everyday watch though as the glass scratches very easily.
Curse you, I just came back on here to suggest exactly that. However I think they’re 38mm rather than 42mm.
The Junkers “Bauhaus” has similar styling but is 40mm.
If I were @Jim I would save my pennies and look in the terminal in Munich on my way home. There are two or three shops there that carry a good stock of the German second - tier (I mean no disrespect, they’re just a lot cheaper that IWC, Omega, Rolex etc.) brands like Junghans, Junkers, Nomos.
Stowa
One of the Hamiltons ?
You know your phone tells the time, right?
That’s a £grand towards some nice thick cables, for instance, you know … just thinking of something at random…
Yeah but it looks fucking ridiculous on your wrist
Anyways, I’ve already bought nice thick cables from you
Mine too with brown strap. Very understated with the clock hands and the recessed crown.
Need thicker - cables can never be too thick. Mmmm.
Telling the time is massively overrated - get summat from the petrol station like a normal person.
I have this -
Nice, affordable, everyday watch. 44mm, with a decent auto movement.
That’s nice, and a good shout.
