Cricket, lovely cricket (Part 1)

It’ll be interesting to see how long 481 stands as the ODI record.

That was stunning.
Every six was half way out the ground.
Hales and JB were just bollocking it out the ground.
Morgan had fifty off 21.

Not necessarily. I remember Australia breaking the record score against South Africa and still losing in probably the greatest odi ever.

err, I think you’ll find that Oz team was slightly* better than this one

*massively

Must be a sweet pitch…

It’s overcast and muggy as hell here. You’d think the ball would be doing all sorts.

Beyond today, that’s for sure

Strange, it usually does at Trent Bridge!

Aussie batting not looking too threatening!

They needed Marsh at full throttle, to give them a chance of building around him.

They needed a miracle to get close to that score.

Oz need 277 to avoid their biggest ever ODI defeat

Fat lady clearing her throat now

Our spinners mop up while Australia’s best spinner sits on the bench…

Win by an innings.

It’s shocking that they only lasted 37 overs on that pitch

It was the target that beat them, the wicket was a belter. Pressure to score at 10 an over from the start and keep that up for 50 overs is too much for any team.

It was all over by five pm.

Insane scoring. Superb hitting. Great day.

Oz thrashed again

4-0

They’ll be looking forward to the ticket home.

Sixty for one builds a good platform for Marsh, when he gets in.

Whitewash or not?
