Donald Trump finally announced as some massive in-joke (Part 1)

Somebody please pass the bucket :weary:

Poor little Trumplings may start to bleat as Umpa-one continues to jack hammer his campaign promises. I get the distinct sense the Orange overlord doesn’t actually want to be POTUS. He has said he likes the rallies (where his wizened ego can get a pump from toothless wonders yee-hawing) but doesn’t want to live in the White house and the Great Wall of Ubercock is now being called a “Campaign devise”. Perhaps it is dawning on his 70 yr old Ambre Solaire soaked sultana of a mind that POTUS is a very demanding job, one involving lots of meetings, briefings, reading of arcane documents, making momentous decisions about the country and the world he really is not interested in making, or is remotely equipped to make. The aching afterbirth of this playing out is that Dunderfucks with an actual ideological agenda like Pence do want the job.

True, and certainly so if you actually want to change anything. Then again, Reagan got through it (sort of) and he was neither smart nor hard-working. The country was sufficiently unphased by what he did that they gave him two terms then voted his veep in to follow him.

So, if anyone thought that Trump might start toning things down, he’s appointed an out and out white supremacist (Steve Bannon) as special counsel to the President.

Indeed, Bannon does seem dangerous. Quite interesting primer on him and the alt right here.

Best I can see this is meaningless unfortunately; it needs an audit to look at issues with how votes were collected etc, a recount literally just recounts the votes as already obtained.
