Donald Trump finally announced as some massive in-joke (Part 1)

Which is worse, to be a misogynistic racist, or to be head off an oppressive state? Bercow has made his choice, it seems.

In Drumpf’s case

Pun intended ?

No, but he didn’t seem to have a problem with being in their company…

It’s all about messages though. It’s one thing to be in someone’s company. That says you’re prepared to tolerate them because, in the real world, you have no choice. But to invite someone to address you, and to listen in respectful silence, suggests that you think they’ve got some wisdom and/or insight and/or experience from which you might benefit. The only reason to listen to Donald Trump is to check that he really is spouting the shallow, short-sighted, prejudiced, rubbish that everyone says he is. If we want to then we can get that via Breitbart or Twitter.

As far as I can see the answer is yes, although I could stand to be corrected.
“Parliament” being the members of the House of Commons and the House of Lords.
Although this was physically done in Westmnster Hall, presumably to fit everyone in.

Betsy fucking Devos confirmed as Education Secretary. Watch public education in the USA go the same way as it’s health care.

China Daily today, aboard the Titanic.

Trumpy’s quiet today, probably not enough wind left to spit his dummy out. Miss him when he’s quiet.
