How much do the auction houses charge the seller?
Between 20 and 24% usually. So if you sell something for Ā£100, they get Ā£20 from the seller and Ā£27 from the buyer. This is why they are popping up all over the place.
No one else wanted them. Youāll probably get the Shakti bits thrown in aswell.

Prices of records at specialist auctions piss over eBay. I wouldnāt have said this was a high end auction but there was enough stuff to create a buzz. There are a significant group of people who see buying things from an auction house (Bricks and mortar) are more authentic and safer. of course they didnāt just buy stuff they āWonā it.

Auction crap on itās way, fairly happy with the prices, which are 50% to 60% of eBay once all the surcharges and shipping is paid. The DCS now goes for Ā£1K to Ā£1.5K and the CAL DAC for Ā£375-ish.
I think these used to be my Sonus Faber Extrema stands. Really sturdy stands, worth every penny.

Box swappers nightmare rack, you have to keep adjusting the feet for heavy things.
That rack looks like an even uglier take on the Stillpoints one. 
They have those in factories, they are called ājigsā for making engineeringy type stuff on

The auction seemed high priced, Iām familiar with a grey 301, not sure Iād pay Ā£2.4k untested.
Thereās a ratty one keeps popping up on eBay @ Ā£2k, but been round 3 times from my memory with no sale?
I know nowt about mono, but this looks reasonably priced?

That is pretty much unsellable. IMHO the Howes take on Quads is not as good as the original anyway.

I donāt care whether his work on the internals is good or not. If he thinks that paint job is a decent idea, then he is clearly not to be trusted with any bit of an amplifier at all.
