I’m not fond of the underpants look of the grill

£2k new according to the advert. As you say, £250 would be a decent buy.

One of tape project’s approved machines.

Adequate.

Cant we all have a whip around for a communal r2r machine like above? it can be the delight at many a bake off and weekend gathering. Happy to look after and store it

Pretty cheap if not pretty?

They do a lot right, great imaging, sound just a bit ragged round the edges but great fun things.

Looks like a good price

They sound good too.

Are these worth a listen?

They look more “activate and dispatch on a seek-and-destroy mission” than “a listen”.

JMO, of course.

I like this sort of look…purposeful.

Doesn’t help with the sound though. :grinning:

They are pretty good especially at that price. it’s a tall order getting the comp driver to play low enough to meet the bass driver but they pull it off quite well and the bass system in these works very well particularly for its overall size.

Oh yes they would do me nicely

These look like fun. Even with shipping from Latvia (within the EU) it seems like a lot of speaker for the money. I wonder how uncouth they are!

You should buy them and hold a bakeoff.

Even if they aren’t great for hifi you could have a bit of a party. :man_dancing:

Horns, tis the future. And R2R.

Only heard them at shows, and have to say enjoyed them very much. LOT of speaker for the £££.
