Possible bargain for someone. Listening via my earlier version of the same amps. Can drive big speakers. Gone back to same model after trying alternatives as they suit my system/room. Amps need to be in free space as they do run hot.

Very nice indeed - designed by Kenneth Grange.

I’d have those just for the design kudos. I just need 8 large.

Ah, and a trip to Athens.

I’d love a pair of these but I can already picture the wife’s reaction to the idea of speakers 7’ high and 4’ deep in the living room :stuck_out_tongue::fist_left:

I remember hearing pair of Carfrae horns at Jim Carfrae’s house a couple of years ago. They’re very good.

I think that the Carfrae horn is essentially the same shape as the Big Fun horn that I had. They do look a bit nicer than mine though. :grinning:

Jim is a nice bloke, lives not far from here. Guy may have some details on the Horns…

Back then B&W did have some really out there speakers P2H and DM70 come to mind - Not sure if these 801’s are as collectable or good
