eBay stuff (Part 1)

Hmm, turned into a £1500 DAC that’s not a kit. Loads of fanboy reviews, probably going to be good but I doubt I’ll buy one

Yeah that’s what Gary thinks also about the power supply/s as well.

Gary likes to keep things simple, I don’t think he would use an up to date state of the art DAC chip, it would be too squeaky clean and hi fi sounding, that’s not his objective here, there are plenty of other DAC’s that do that.

Bottlehead, I don’t keep up with what they’re doing, I like to look at their kits now and again but that’s as far as it goes, I’ll have a look in now though.

These are for sale just down the road from me, if someone could buy them for me that would be lovely thankyou:+1:

Do you know what DB stands for?

Don’t bother?

Not very inventive 2/10

Dull boring?

Where’s my incentive to be inventive?

But if they sound good with Cyrus, they must be miraculous…

None, it just means you are a dullard.

Nope

I will save the inevitable and it stands for ‘Dinky Box’, so the TB, LB, MB and BB are…named…

Now there’s a damn fine word. Not used enough in my view. Well done

LOL, that’s funny

Tiny Box, Little Box, Medium Box, Big Box, they are such wags.

Rarer than hens teeth. I’ve never heard one but wouldn’t mind!

Have you, Matt?

Sadly no, the Neumann along with the Feranti Ribbon cart are the two carts I’m really curious to hear.

I think Frank S had a Neumann at Munich recently. You might perhaps have a little more luck finding the Ferranti (Made in Scotland)
