Everton’s new Stadium cost forecast is £300m and they will sell Goodison Park for a fair amount, so not to bad. But the initial cost always escalates. (SB is over double!)

Yes, redeveloping the Annie Road end is next on the list. They have PP I think.

given the way these things are, I would expect the cost to double. Spurs looks like topping out at £850m which was just over double the initial estimate

Chelsea will be eye wateringly expensive - initial estimate £1.2b - final cost £2b?

The initial cost of SB development was £500m.

Looks like fat Sam is staying another year

Oh well, they probably won’t get relegated which must be some consolation

OK, panic over, that was Allardyce saying he was staying, the club are saying nothing at all. Allardyce also likened himself to Diego Simeone :joy::rofl::joy: in this injudicious mind-fart of a quote:

“Entertainment is the (mastering) of defence in Europe – Simeone,” the Toffees boss said. “Is that entertainment?. He’s called the master of defence. I’m called defensive and negative. We’ve not only achieved the goal (of staying up), we’ve played some extremely entertaining games.”

Fucking delusional, we are shit at defending properly and aside from comedy moments have played exactly zero extremely entertaining games since BFS and LFS arrived.

On a lighter note, Gerrard for Rangers??? That’ll be a hoot.

Yeah, can’t see that being a happy ending.

Hope he does his first interview on scotch tv in a faux comedy scotch accent a la Joey Barton’s french effort:+1:

Looks like it will be a 3-4-3 today. Moreno :grimacing:

With a bottle of buckie in his hand…

Playing / Risking Salah for 90 minutes in a 0-0 home draw with Stoke - not clever imo.

Klopp definitely struggling to juggle the Champions League with the Premier League.
If Chelsea win their two games in hand and beat us at a Stamford Bridge we will be level on points - though we have a vastly better goal difference.

Chelsea won’t get top 4

Seems a strange one to risk Salah when Stoke are fighting for there lives, yet take him off the other night.

They need to qualify so Salah should play, definitely.

Our last game is at home to Brighton so even if Chelsea draw level on points we should be home and hosed with the goal difference.
If we can’t beat Brighton at home on the last day then Klopp needs shooting.

If Liverpool win the Euro Cup do Chelsea quality in 5th place?

West Brom WTF? Looks like Palace are going to be OK though.

Southampton WTF now? Good job West Ham have an easy game tomorrow against a side that have nothing to play for or it could be Moyes out before the Championship kicks off next August.

Certainly pulls Swansea back into it
