The thing about watching in HD is the extra encoding delay means I hear the cheers from the pub opposite a few seconds before I see the goal. Takes away some of the dramatic tension.
There is so much delay on the YouTube feed that the Guardian Live Blog is ahead of the pictures and commentary.
