Gigs I'm going to

Be rude not to.

Do a nice line in flutery they do.

Bardo Pond last night were a bit flutey too. I will see what their studio stuff sounds like.

GYBE were very good. Bleak but beautiful. I was transfixed, as were most of the crowd.

There was also a pleasant lack of phonetwats filming and photographing the gig.

Guess what, we saw London Grammar in Brixton last night. Hannah has a wonderful voice, they were brilliant. We had a crap view, and standing tickets with knackered ankle wasn’t exactly a good move.

Next up we have Bugzy Malone in Kentish Town on Thursday.

Their split 12” with Carlton Melton is a good place to start. Heavy, heavy, heavy…

Turin Brakes,Exeter

might not be everyone cup of wotsit - but he was fantastic, we’d definitely see again…a cracking performance

Sunday night off to see Eilen Jewell in the Prince Albert in Brighton.

Nadine Shah, Roundhouse, February next year.

The Beat and The Selector, Brighton Dome in March 2018

I was hoping to get down for that , it isn’t looking lughtly. Enjoy the gig kevin

I am sure we will, I wouldn’t come down on spec though it sold out weeks ago.

I suspect I’ll be going to this, as it’s my new band’s debut gig!

Billy Bragg last night Bexhill De La Wer

You sound surprised by this.
