VW Up GTI. £14K and about the same size and power as the original Golf GTI (according to James May who also likes it).
It would make a great replacement for the Yaris we have which gets used as a shopping cart, school run etc
Hired one of these in Canada f****king loved it.

Hideous interior though
Used to work in that factory in Austria…the only time ever I was scared in a car was when the chief test driver showed what a ‘G’ was capable of…

Great fun but very noisy and totally impractical. My wife was pregnant at the time and couldn’t get in or out
