Finally got round to watching it… absolute belter.
Like an animal farm for the next age but with more humour. Always a refreshing change for the eyes and mind…
I thought it was great, but the American/Japanese issues grated somewhat
I saw it last night & ditto. Mind you, I found his cultural appropriation of European arthouse cinema (Grand Budapest Hotel) pretty obnoxious too so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. It’s a shame. There’s much to be admired in the craft involved in making this film.
