I got a bit moist when I was invited to this auction tomorrow…

I can’t make it sadly, but have made some online bids.
The Mike Oldfield Tubular Bells Lot was exciting at first glance. But it isn’t the original recording set (which were virtually destroyed by the use of steel hammers), it’s a “touring” set from 1990.

I gave you a like for your enthusiasm…

I have no intention of listening to it tho

Latest incarnation of my pedal board; there’s 3 fx loops into the Wounded Paw V4 blender, each containing a different envelope follower (newest is the Mr. Black Fwonk Beta Purple Funk Generator, and it does!) mated with bass synth, valve distortion and Bass Whammy for a variety of weird and possibly wonderful noises… Needs some tidying!

Really ??? :unamused:

It’s a metaphor for the creative mind at work…

Cable over trigger fail :smirk:

They’re all on, on full, all the time anyway, apart from occasional pitch wobbling on the Whammy.

:disappointed: Hope those around the North will keep their eyes open.

Some beautiful instrument making to admire (Stefan Sobel’s former apprentice.)

P.S Short trailer. Haven’t posted pics of the Avian fan fret Songbird bought for my 64th yet. Now have hopes of a shiny, brand new second-hand N.K. Foster tenor joining the stable, so you’ll just have to wait.

It’s not 'til you see the business card you realize quite how sub-mini it is. :canoe:

That’ll have all the headroom of 500 yr old pub.

Good work to cram everything into a pedal box nevertheless.

Aargh! Closely resembles the consequences of young people and fast bikes.

Great fun in the short term for rider and onlookers, but it ain’t going to end well…

Triumph of marketing over guitar sense?

Ditched the heavy old Marshall 300watter, and gone for a Crown class D poweramp with 1500W rms bridged… Should have no trouble getting heard now! Only thing to worry about is the rack falling off the stack.

Long but good…

Have a Sobell Guitar and a 4 course Cittern too.
He is the man. Check out his protege Nigel Forster as well.
