Tom Petty Death Hoax Dismissed Since Singer Is ‘Alive And Well’
On Sunday (October 01) the singer’s reps officially confirmed that Tom Petty is not dead. “He joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. He’s still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet,” they said.
Plenty of traffic on Twitter but nothing official yet.

I really hope @MGOwner’s hoax post is correct, but it is all over the internet now, many of the UK papers are carrying it now.
