Lunch out today at The Chequers in Weston-on-the-Green.
Narelle had 1/2 a Smoky BBQ’d chicken, chips and slaw.
While I had the slow cooked lamb shoulder, dauphinoise and veg.
These were both cooked in an Mercan style smoker/BBQ called Bertha. Proper smoky
Desert was N: Sticky Toffee pud and ice cream, and I had the Bread & Butter pud with custard.
Nice atmosphere. A Fullers pub so the beer was good. The Guvn’r seemed a bit of a dick but the staff were great.
