The budget for the weekend wasn’t unlimited. Corners had to be cut. They’d wanted muffins and to drive off in an Astra but you can’t have everything. They had to settle for an E type milk float.

Not shown here but there was actually a pack of Uncle Ben’s Mexican spicy in each gift bag.

Cauliflower and lentil curry- a weekly staple but I have been varying the types of pulse(s). This week is primarily split fava beans with black lentils and some red lentils

Also swapped out lemon for some lime pickle which worked a treat so has stuck

I had two of those, followed by a coffee ice cream cone.

Been doing a fuck ton of experimenting in the last week, but I’ve forgotten to take any photos, and it’s mostly been vegetarian / vegan fare for a hippie retreat. Need the practice as my natural starting point for any meal is “what’s the meat”.

Do you think you can prise a living out of feeding hippies?
