Pork Faff Therapy/ What are you eating?

Veeeeey rare duck and Asian slaw. Proper decent grub.

Wild boar and chorizo stew. Not following a recipe, just making it up as I go along. Trying to decide whether to chuck the spuds in the pot, or make some patatas bravas or wedges to go with it.

Fuck it, in the pot with them, less washing up. Actually one less thing to chuck in the dishwasher, but the sentiment is the same…

Needs proper dumplings in there for the last 30 mins. Get to it.

I’ll think about it in 2.5 hours or so…

Don’t put them in until about 20/30 minutes before the end of the cooking though, otherwise they’ll just breakdown and make the sauce thicker :+1:

Too late. Thick sauce will be fine. If they disappear completely, I’ll make some dumplings :grinning:

The dumplings aren’t optional. It’ll be a crime against both the boar & the chorizo if they are omitted.
