Pork Faff Therapy/ What are you eating?

some homemade humus, carrots, celery cucumber, wedge of home Spanish omelette, and two slices of mortadella

Well you can’t trust the shit in the supermarkets at the moment can you, so homemade is a wise precaution.

homemade is easy and cheap - and they always put too much citric acid in the shop stuff -

tonight we dine here:

my parents bought us a gift voucher for xmas - we have been before and it is very nice, but IMO I am never convinced about Indian food as fine dining
(mind you that could be due to the 30+ trips I made to India in another career)

Pan-fried duck, asparagus and Jersey Royals.

Have you tried Cafe Spice in prescott st? Used to go there for lunch when I had meetings at the old BoA office, tis very good and I’m not a huge fan of ruby murrays.

I’ve been there many times - it is really good :+1:

Beef short ribs cooked long and low with stout, red wine and root veg. Served with Jersey Royals.
Epic !

In future could you please write up your foodie forays in the manner of your avatar, including how nice/crap the orange juice/mineral water was, and what your dining companion thought of the waiter/sommelier. Ta.

Carb free ploughman’s lunch.

What’s that then? Two tomatoes, some lettuce and a stick of celery?

Nom

Don’t they have a fair bit of carbs, being a fruit and that?

Plus 2 slices of ham and a lump of cheese
luxury :grinning:
