It’s a nice SUV, a tad quicker than my RAV 4 I should think.
… my knee injury means I am struggling with getting in/out of the Boxster more and more. We are getting increasingly frustrated at the lack of load space in the Boxster, the current one has less than the previous one… I also find this Boxster quite tiring to drive on long journeys, the chassis and suspension are astonishingly stiff, great fun through the twisters but back breaking on longer journeys.
The final straw in the decision making was the new Boxster 718 being a 4 cylinder job… even the dealer suggested to me it wasn’t as good as the 981 I have now… So the lease being up on the Boxster… its a Macan next. 0-60 in bonkers mode is about 4.6 seconds.
we did flirt with an Evoque, and a Jag F-Pace, but both are a bit big for my garage, and neither are as well put together as the Macan. With leasing it makes much more financial sense staying with Porsche. Boxster it might not be, buts its very definitely Porsche.
After being super-impressed with Coco-san’s Beetle the other day, we decided to go for it. And bought this…

Two. It’s the first electric Porch. Matt paint finish also. And it came with interchangeable wheels included…
Avoid 928’s like the plague unless you have very deep pockets.
I wouldn’t buy one now, as you say wallet emptier- been there done that- just buy bangers now and run them to death while spending the wife’s company car refund for not having one on records
