A-propos of nothing, I stumbled across this company - Impact Acoustics - making some rather good looking room treatments from a felt-like material made from recycled plastics.
Rather like that the range includes various lampshades, from officey via restrained, to outright funky:
The company is Swiss, so prices will of course be somewhere between prohibitive and hilarious…
