Shiny brand new second hand things in my system today

A like your record box things :+1:

They’re blue.

They both have records in them, too.

Less is more. I spent 2 weeks turning mine down to the point where I couldn’t really hear it, at that point it all fell into place. It’s wasn’t a quick process.

It’s effectively what I’ve done with a jazz album, but I need the room correction /eq stuff done properly for it to be a permanent component in the hifi.

The home cinema amp has Audyssey on it which does a really good job.

Wife is away all week, so I can spend time getting to know it properly. Hehe.

Loving the new avatar picture

Dicking about with a budget deck that shouldn’t sound this good.

Looks good.

Looks like a jelco arm 250st?
Weighs about 11kg which is a lot for a budget deck from the 80s.

Is that a 10 inch record or a 14 inch platter?

10 inch record

Deck looks really nice Stu :+1:

I’ve always liked those Rotel decks, looks in nice condition. 80’s Rotel gear is generally brilliant, surprised it’s not more sought after.

Coming up for sale soon ?

Not at the moment,do you want me to keep a look out for a cheapish deck?

Yeah if one comes up mate . Realistically with the house move , it won’t be before Christmas though . Unless I want to eat my crimbo turkey in my own !

Pair of Dynaudio 42 speakers, had some yonks ago and stupidly sold them. Also the Micromega Classic Solo on it’s way, to be added to the Micromega collection.
