Is that a mexican drug cartel shrine in the background?

Is this how you are funding hifi purchases?

It’s a small selection of booze, the rest is distributed between the drinks globe (oh yes I did say that ) and a wall cabinet to the left.

mmm that’s a beauty , well done

Jesus Christ Decca’s are a twat to set up, third attempt and it sits so low. It’'s a guess setting up on the feickert. Sounding better than I expected. Any tips @PapaLazarou?

That seems to sit lower than I remember mine did.

Presumably there isn’t a transparent jig available to help alignment?

I’m going to have another go, I think I also need another shim as at the mo the max vtf is 2.38.

I could do with something like that Adam…

It’s promising soundwise but needs tightening up in all areas mostly bass

Mines so low it skips over the run in lip

azimuth looks a bit out from that pic.

Height looks ok but as Guy says the azimuth looks a bit out. I would also put the blu tac directly on top of the Decca.

Yes that’s sorted now, rearranged the shim and added more blue tac vtf now 2.75, much better.

Will leave and have another go later at fine tuning

Oh ok , why?

I assume because the cart body is really microphonic.

Yep, what Chris said and it will add a bit of mass to the body, usually helps :+1:Maybe wedge a block between the top of the Decca and the underside of the arm

I used a couple of silicone washers between the decca and the headshell
