Shiny brand new second hand things in my system today

I’m sure it could be washed. I’ll try when it’s accumulated enough muck.

I’ve had mine a while, its starting to show a build up of fluff but I haven’t tried to clean it. I always used Rodico up until the vp thing.

The dust buster has been available for years - I even bought one for bmtell as a thank you gift after he fixed my amp.

Yes, washed mine several times - it returns to the original level of stickiness after drying

He actually fixed one :flushed:

Waddya reckon Stu ?

Thought of getting one of these to replace (?) my Manticore Mantra.

Exremely good deck i won’t say for the money, just extremely good.

Basically a audio note for peanuts.
Not sure how it would compare against the Manticore

This is the other one i have, though not complety stripped

Yea, I’ve not heard a Systemdek either, so would need to compare them side by side.

From memory the Systemdek was slightly better. I heard a TT2 that hummed and made noises when you moved the arm/cart over the motor.

Stick an origin live DC motor in it and IMHO it’s better than a TT1

Here’s mine that has been veneered in oak.

If i’d had the money,i’d have bought yours.

If you want the plinth and can collect it’s yours for a bottle of wine.

I’ve taken the OL motor out so you’ll need to swap the AC one and cabling out of yours into it, it has an acrylic platter as the glass one was knackered.

That would be excellent, don’t know when i can get to you though.

I’m not in a rush but do need to clear some space in the next few months as I only have one cupboard where I’m storing it all.

Probably just before xmas if ok with you.
