Does having the kit between the speakers not affect the sound quality a fair bit? I have a preference for the kit to be off to one side so there is nothing between the speakers.

Looks great, but I think the heads might need degaussing on the R2R.

I’d tend to agree but sadly not enough space to do that.

You want to be careful running the R2R so close to a non-magnetically shielded speaker, could ruin your tapes
