I believe there was a big fallout between the owners so they have gone their seperate ways hence the complete redesign.
Missed out on Bourneys ones again, he put them up for sale a while ago and then changed his mind and they’ve just been sold on pfm.
Really wanted to try out some WLM’s.

Same as my Firstwatt - can make it yourself (or get someone to build it for you) for a fraction of the cost of the official product, but it looks pretty shit and has zero resale.

Absolutely - you can often find DIY pairs on Audiomarkt.
Sure it sounds fine but it’s a minger compared to the real thing imo and that is very important to a shallow twat like me. 
Plus I can sell mine for a profit in a heartbeat (not that I plan to).
Taking mine to Pete’s on Saturday to run his Avantgarde Finos so the great and the good can form their own opinions.
Its the second amplifier I have made from scrap inverter heat sinks. This makes me very happy.
I’d love a genuine article, but for me the pleasure these days is in the building. Its fantastic the DIY community has someone like Pass.

This is my third pair of Diva’s - they won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but I love what they do and they look great.
Even at rrp they were only about £4k new, so competing with bottom rung LV’s - having had Auditoriums, Avatars and OBX’s I wouldn’t swap the Diva’s for any of them.
I’d love to hear some of the higher end Lyra or Viola models with the ribbon tweeter.
I have to make do with cheap alcohol and internet porn for that.

Mines an F5 - it will be at Pete’s on Saturday with your old Fino’s and I’m hoping it will be a good match.

In my room the Fino’s were a little bit bright in the extreme treble but it may be my room. I wanted to replace the Mundorf’s with Jupiter equivalents and Avant Garde gave there blessing and asked me to report back with the results.
