Shiny brand new second hand things in my system today

Bring it to the SW Weekender and we can do a double blind drunk test :astonished:

Or not

I’d like that, the outdoor ‘party’ system will require attenuation

The top of the amp looked pretty smooth to start with - the only bumps seem to be the vent slots, screw heads and that little round insignia. Now it’s got a great big sticky-up black thing on it. Surely it’s bumpier, not smoother  ?

More new stuff, needs to warm up as at the moment the Krell KRC3 and the Gryphon Bel Canto are killing it.

And the remote is shite, propper shite

I know it needs a Shakti! :sunglasses:

Apparently the UK distributor has a stack of the later, improved remote controls and posts them out free of charge to people who aren’t twats. Ah. Enjoy your ‘shite remote’.

Even the LS100 remote looks better than that

That IS the 36.5 remote. The LS100 is the same but in plastic.
Bob has bought an ancient unit which came with a crappy remote. Quite a few have failed so Dan Wright replaces them FOC via the distributor whenever requested.

I am requesting.

OK I’ll send you the old one then.

It is sounding a lot better now after 3 hours use, the bottom end is right now.

Stone has magically transformed yet another broken amp :nerd_face:

Now with Solid Tech Feet of Silence

Feet Of Silence… They are so silent, they are invisible! Emperor’s new Feet?

They are sneeky litlle b’stards. They are hiding under the Avantagrde Acoustic Model 5 amp, waiting to pounce.

To be fare, the feet seem to make very small differences with this amp, certainly not as much as the Shakti.

Should be Michael Flatley’s new project…
