Shiny brand new second hand things in my system today

That looks like a fantastic set up :+1:

Sony wireless noise cancelling IEMs - sounds alright and very comfy so far…

Swapped out the AN1 arm on my Gyro. Liking it a lot more than the 309 I had recently.

The SME IV is a lot better than the 309, not sure why other than the 309 has a removeable headshell.

Is it me, or is the weight of the TV making the picture sink on that side?

The sideboard is used to hide all the PSU’s, CD player, Phono stages, etc.
Helps hugely with partner approval factor.

I’d hazard a guess that part of the reason is down to a lack of rigidity in the headshell fixing. Johnnie7 machined the headshell of my 310 in order to obtain greater grip on the arm-tube and the difference was very noticeable.

This. I badly need the TV to be in the centre.

I think the SME IV and 312S are the sweet spots in the SME range of arms. The V and V12 are just not much better. The M2 is meh.

What are all those steel domes all over it? What the hell is that bag of sweets on the base plate?

To be fair, that covers just about all of Bob’s hifi.

'cos I can.

And I am on a mission to get Kans to sound nice, not just boxy shout boxes.
