That’s one battered and bruised Murray…he’s hurting.
He’s looked like he’s been having fairly serious issues with his hip in all of the matches but this was definitely a challenge too far. Well done Querrey for taking the chances.
It took real guts to stay out there and give his opponent the respect of having to beat him rather than taking the easier option of retiring from the match.
Like him or not that’s admirable sportsmanship of the highest order.
