Why is the wrapper so dark, where is it from?
It’s 100% Peruvian and a Maduro. “ Maduro ” is the Spanish word for “ripe” and refers to the extra time required and the dark colors achieved during the natural fermentation of maduro wrappers.
I’ve never seen one as dark. 
It’s probably the darkest I’ve seen. I bought a dozen and I’ve had these in the humidor for 5+ years. The other Inka Maduro I’ve seen aren’t as dark. So a bit of a bonus.
