It’s always haggis season baby!

(Unless you live in France, where you cannot get it for love nor money, which is very odd given the French love of all things offal).

Fancy dress is de rigueur in those parts.

Edit - or seek out Mungo’s Hifi.

I’ve found a mark on a large bit of stonework that forms the hinge post for the front gate. The mark is a horizontal line with a two sided arrow head underneath with the point on the line.

I know it’s not one of the OS trig points, they were concrete and had metal housings for the theodolite.
Anyone know what these things are?

How old are the gates? Could be a “witch” mark to protect the house or ward off evil spirits.

Or a stonemasons signature mark, they also used them to identify which piece went where.

Most probably left by alien life forms who couldn’t be arsed to make a crop circle.

That’ll be the height the flood water reaches each spring.

I remember Top Trumps. Gove is the cunty equivalent of the ultimate supercar, Pele or Concorde.

Old stuff is ace.

The next time someone uses bench marking at work I shall put them straight.

Property Boundary marker …or maybe not😊

I’m disappointed that you, of all people, didn’t recognise a crow’s foot govermental mark…

Too busy grinding them off😀
