Ha! I saw him (well, that car) this afternoon as well. Rather stands out when it’s broken down!
I had a similar incident by Cheltenham M5 a few years ago.
After getting a bit of a bollocking from the AA bloke,me and the car limped home…R.I.P

Yes,it is a rare sight,the tyre blew out in 3 places.
Seems the chap who owned it before me,didn’t put high performance tyres on.

The problem is people who really don’t have the money to maintain Astra’s properly end up buying them and then having to skimp on tyres and servicing to be able to afford to keep them running.
To this day I’ve never seen a mint example with a full service history…
