The Wonderful World of Turntable Design AKA: Dave's Fugly World Of TT Wank

Oooh mate, that’s a toughy that is, it probably fucking should be 1985, and maybe somewhere it even is.
I was already well down the road to making a self-sustaining clusterfuck of my life even then.
If I could give my 1985 self one piece of advice it would be: you’re a cunt and nothing can be done about it. :+1:

That white one would be OK in the kitchen

After this monstrosity, taste deserted the building and it was only a matter of time.

The gold SME arms as soooo passe and the owners of such things are tossers.

This is true. On the other hand, I couldn’t give a fuck so it is a bit of a score draw situation really.

I normally like turntables you lot call fugly but not the white one. I really like that Kodo turntable in white but not this. Red isn’t do bad with the black arm.

I would love to see the face of the average Crossley buyer looking at this and thinking, “Wow, that white plastic thing might be in budget” and then hearing how much the plastic looking thing akchurly costs :joy:

A lot less in record wear…oops forgot it doesn’t come with a cart so a nail could still be attached to the arm

Give me an old school turntable in a plinth any day.

Is it ugly turntable week?

What’s the damage on one of those?

Caliburn Continuum. Lovely Jubbly.
