Nadine Shah - Holiday Destination

Laura Marling album is one I keep going back to, not a weak song on there…

Pino Palladino back on bass duties, the best I’ve seen live aside from Flea. Mellow album but annoyingly good…

John Mayer - The Search for Everything

Bonobo - Migration

Thundercat - Drunk
Great live too, probably should have put him infront of Palladino…think I might have a bass player obsession…Bootsy Collins next…

27th October…
And talking of bass players, new Primus album 29th September!

now I have in my head bands fronted by bass players…Primus were a cool band in my teens, Fishbone/Infectious Grooves/Living Colour/early RHCP/Faith No More…great live bands in small sweaty venues

Angus & Julia Stone - Snow

Not as good as Down The Way but better than their last album.

Ricky Ross - Short Stories Vol 1

Excellent solo album from the Deacon Blue front man.

Melanie de Biasio - Lilies

If you like No Deal, you’ll like this as well.

aaargh - she’s playing Leeds and Manchester next weekend but I’m away

I’m gutted playing nowhere south, I was hoping my Holland Belgium trips would cross sadly not

Properly ghastly cover, but this is my pick of the year so far

Not heard this one yet. They kind of lost it for me after Crack The Skye.

Peter Bradley Adams - A Face Like Mine

Awesome americana.

Between this…
