I have a Sony Walkman WM1Z I’ll be selling soon. It’s a serious piece of kit, but north of £1k.

Google Play music hasn’t quite been binned but replaced with Youtube music, My Play Music library was automatically imported in to Youtube Music and you can still upload your own music in the Youtube music app just like you could with Google Play Music.

If you want to spend about £7 get UAPP on an android phone and you can use the one app if you have Tidal or Qobuz sub along with your own flacs, and it sorts out the problem with the USB output on android so it stays in the native sample rate.

VLC media player will play FLAC files on an iPhone.

I use Roon at home (principally while lying in my hammock) and TIDAL when out. Can’t really see the point in playing FLACs though IEMs. Roon has really good eq for Audeze headphones built in so it sounds magnificent though my Sines.
