It’s pukka: great food, great ales, dog friendly, real log fires, ace landlady and staff, and 10 mins walk from home - one of the reason why we love Lincs.

Last nights payday treat was a few bottles of good old wife beater and fish and chips, proper posh like.
If you like the black heart try the brewdog russian imperial, I did some home brew and it came out at 8.5% rather than theirs at 9.5% because I couldn’t get enough grain to fit.

Very malty, hoppy and quite bitter. Smells lovely and tastes quite citrusy. Tastes like any of the better American style IPA’s, though it is British.

Yep my father in law is french belgian
