What alcoholic drink are you drinking right now?

Easy mistake to make when you’re wankered on the dregs from the back of the cocktail cabinet

Troo dat !

Which reminds me, I think I’ve still got some absinthe tucked away.

or for the more adventurous, you could try a Corspse Reviver No 2, which uses a squirt of Absinth.

'Kin hell.

A couple of drops of that and E M’s sorted his Falcon Heavy fuel problem.

You could have a on brand snakebite with Aspalls and Coors now…:beers:

I think the last time I had some it was just over ice.

Was quite pleasant.

Not sure I quite believe this, we need a blind drunk tasting test

Me too

I quite like those aniseedy flavoured spirits, Ouzo is a favourite.

Nordes Gin is similarly refreshing although with a wider range of flavours. Louise hates anything like that, says it reminds her of mouthwash

I’ve never really liked Aspalls Cider (to my knowledge), but they do make some rather nice vinegars

I have Ouzo, Sambuca, Ricard Pastis and Pernod. So, as you can see, I quite like aniseedy things. Narelle’s not keen either, although she doesn’t mind Ouzo.

LP (for @Jim) :+1:

Come on, keep up chaps, please :slightly_smiling_face:

Verdict: a bit une dimensional. Loads of fruit but fuckall else. Narelle passed on another glass as she called it, “A bit cloying.”

It is a touch sweet. It would take veeeery careful food matching. Possibly with a rich, savoury but spicy meat dish. Possibly a Chilli but not a Pete’s Chilli with-one-chilli-in-it type chilli.

As for a quaffer ? A wine for non wine drinkers me thinks.

Which one Terry, the CNDP or the other one?

The Rex Mundi. The CdP was lovely.
