I prefer the Anejo but it’s not bad for a “silver”.
hop free beer - made with genetically engineered yeast to recreate the hop flavour
… but choice of hops (which, how much and when) is what gives us such variety in beer.
Accepting whatever’s baked-into the genes of the yeast sounds a bit limiting to me.
How does it taste? And was it cask or keg, because hops were originally used as a preservative more than for their bitterness so I wonder if you can even have a real ale with this method.
