A bit more mundane
Still probably has more flavour than the Chat! The Chat is ok - a bit wishy-washy. It was probably decent 3 or 4 years ago. At least it’s not sour.
It is a very nice tipple for fiver.
Enjoy.
Feeling like I’ve probably had a couple too many of these at the mo
Today I maked this…
23 litres immediately retitled ANZAC Ale-eye-ants. Brewed with Aussie “Galaxy” and NZ “Rakau” hops. Should come in at about 4.2%.
Here is my current stock ready for consumption (not shown is 25 pints of 2.8% Ginger Beer and 20 pints of 9.1% Belgian)…
With 40 more pints conditioning inside the house (different temperature).
What does your liver have to say about dealing to all this piss?
Its too bolloxed to string a coherent sentence of dissent
I am in awe of your brewing skills
I WILL construct an answer to a question I can’t fully comprehend but get the general gist of…
I don’t drink a lot (everything’s relative). But due to climate/time/trips abroad etc I need to build up stocks like a squirrel stores nuts. By the end of May I should have enough to get me through Summer/Autumn which is when I can start brewing again (it’s about temperature control). I then have a hiatus over the darkest days of Winter.
Effectively, there are 6-7 months of brewing per annum.
Looking good.
Reminds me. Must do another brew myself. And put some string up for my Hops, which have broken ground and are wondering what to climb.
I’ve just bought a fridge to have a go at lagering a helles.
Will probably be a complete fucking disaster.
Get yourself an InkBird temperature controller from Amacuntz. Cheap as chips but excellent.
Mermaid (IOW) gin and tonic is todays gin o’clock beverage.
It is very fragrant I prefer it with a Lidl low calorie tonic rather than the poncy fever tree recommendation
Todays drinking involved G&Ts made with Bombay Sapphire (my standard go to gin)

Now it’s a couple of pints of my Amarillo packed Pale Ale.
I had a Monkey 47 martini on Friday night, slowly constructed by a hipster over approximately 30 minutes. It was nice though.
I’ve been positively wild by my standards and had 2 or 3 beers every night sInce last Friday
Cairngorm Gold and Schiellhallion lined up for tonight
