Had the usual in the local
The wife is out, so I had to put both kids to bed. To cope with this trauma I started on a bottle of Argentinian Malbec, which was cheap and isn’t very good, but I’m getting the hang of it now I’m almost through it. I also discovered some Cambozola in the fridge that I’d forgotten about.
With HIGNFY on TV I’m starting to believe that there might be a god after all.
Sounds pretty much like my evening sans the kids though
Just trying a wee snifter of this from Aldi ( £9.99 a bottle) before rattling the whole lot later - absolutely lovely - also the wife is away until teatime tomorrow so booze and tunes tonight - chin chin
and will be followed by some Eurovision red…
The Gecko.
All of my above
I need much, MUCH more.
Good God I’ve been driven into the comforting arms of booze.
Welcome to the warm zone.
Red wine slipping down very easy. I feel cognac coming on.
Good? Worth £10?
I wouldn’t claim to be an expert on wine (being more of a wino) but I think it’s excellent. Very strong at 15% tho’ as I’m now finding out
A slightly sweet taste to it as well.
Unfortunately I cannot do sweet. Lidl spring collection is worth a punt. The Val de above and the Venetto Rosso for under a tenner. Brunello £15 for immediate drinking not cellaring.
