The only blue bols I knew in those days involved copious amounts of booze, passing out and mates with felt-tipped pens 
Blue bols n snakebite in Salford in the late 80s is some distance from posh, i can.promise you that

Ah, blue bols, vodka and lemonade, aka a Blue Lagoon. My very first “proper” cocktail. Unless you count a Snowball as a cocktail.
