It’s a little “thin” for me. The only time I drink it is when I’m in Turkey.
Back on the High West, It really is a very good rye. I am liking it very much
now this
to go with some homemade cranachan.

I had a bottle of that last Xmas. It was pretty nice. Not exceptional but a pleasant drop.
Berry fruits dominate, and with precious little spiciness, give this wine an almost alcoholic Cola flavour. Not enough depth for me. Narelle found it pleasant but 1 dimensional.
Not a great match with slow cooked lamb shoulder. I think this would be perfect with a spicy ragu or game sausages and polenta. Alternately something BBQ’d and smoky.
