The Louche Process… yes and no - no sugar as I don’t really do sweet. But I did pour iced water slowly - from a jug to observe the slow colour change.

is that sweet? I find most sloe gin too sweet for my palate.
The Cherry Gin I posted earlier isn’t too sweet.
It ain’t dry! I’m not a fan of Boodles dry gin as I think
It’s just an average London style gin and nothing special.
As soon as you introduce fruit then you’re adding sweetness, so it’s a matter of taste. I liked it with a number of different tonics but ymmv.
